THE
FLORISTRY TASTER CLASS
THE PERFECT TASTER EXPERIENCE FOR ANY FLOWER LOVER
Welcome to our popular Floristry Taster Class.
Over the course of the day, you’ll be introduced to the basics of floristry, discovering the names and properties of your flowers and learning how to condition and process them too. We’ll introduce you to the Elements of floral design, and then you’ll be led through three hands-on projects, all of which you’ll get to take home with you.
Throughout your time with us, we’ll be covering a simple, seasonal hand-tied bouquet, a centrepiece arrangement, and a buttonhole also.
As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with the season’s best materials, including British grown flowers and foliages, sourced directly from our local growing partners when the season allows. No floral foam will be utilised within this course, and single use plastics (for example, anchor or pot tape) will be kept to an absolute minimum.
The Floristry Taster Class is a gentle introduction to floristry, to try a new skill, and immerse yourself creatively. Many students of ours take the Floristry Taster Class as a first step on their journey to discover if flowers could potentially be a pathway for them to follow.
Please note, no prior experience is required to join us on the Floristry Taster Class. Basic tools will be provided.
