Welcome to our Terrarium Workshop.

Over the course of your time with us, you’ll be introduced to the essentials of open terrarium design, learning how to layer, plant, and style your own miniature ecosystem within a glass container.

We’ll guide you through the core principles that make an open terrarium thrive, from structure and balance, through to plant selection and placement.

During the session, you’ll create your own open terrarium, working with a curated selection of plants, natural materials, and decorative elements, all chosen to complement one another beautifully.

At the end of the workshop, your terrarium will be yours to take home and enjoy, along with a clear understanding of how to care for it, and the confidence to continue creating with plants in your own time.

As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with carefully selected materials, with a focus on natural textures and thoughtful composition. Each element has been chosen to ensure your finished piece feels balanced, considered, and long lasting.

This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in working with plants in a creative way, and it’s an ideal opportunity to slow down, focus, and enjoy a more mindful, hands on experience. Whether you’re completely new, or simply curious to try something different, you’ll be guided every step of the way.

The Terrarium Workshop is a relaxed and welcoming session, it’s a chance to spend a few hours creating something beautiful, learning a new skill, and enjoying a calm, supportive environment.

Our class size is kept to a maximum of 10 students to ensure a peaceful atmosphere, with plenty of tutor support throughout. All materials and tools will be provided, and no prior experience is required to join us.
