A TWO DAY CLASS, FILLED WITH HANDS-ON PROJECTS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH AN INTRODUCTION TO WEDDING FLORISTRY
If you’re looking for a solid, practical introduction to Wedding Floristry, taught by leading wedding florists, The Wedding Foundation Two Day Class is the course for you. Focusing on an exciting mix of hands on learning across a number of essential skills, combined with background business building knowledge, this course is an essential first step for those looking to explore wedding floristry further.
Throughout the duration of this two day course, you will cover:
An introduction to wedding floristry and the wedding industry
The consultation process and industry tricks and tips to booking clients
Conditioning and cut flower care
Bouquets
Buttonholes
Corsages & Wrist corsages
Floral Hair Pieces
Centrepieces
Top table designs
Ribboning, finishing & transportation
With a bespoke Q&A session to finish
As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with the season’s best materials, including British grown flowers and foliages, sourced directly from our local growing partners when the season allows. Single use plastics (for example, anchor or pot tape) will be kept to an absolute minimum in this course.
The Wedding Foundation Class is a gentle introduction to wedding floristry, to try a new skill, and immerse yourself creatively. Many students of ours take the Floristry Taster Class as a first step before joining this class.
Please note, no prior experience is required to join us on this Class. Basic tools will be provided.
