Welcome to The Seasonal Special: Floristry Taster Class.
Designed as a shorter, seasonal version of our popular Floristry Taster Class, this special experience is available on select dates throughout the year and offers the perfect opportunity to spend a few creative hours immersed in flowers.
During your time with us, you’ll be introduced to the basics of floristry, discovering the names and properties of your flowers and learning how to condition and prepare them correctly.
We’ll introduce you to some of the Elements of floral design before guiding you through a carefully selected collection of hands-on seasonal projects, all of which you’ll get to take home with you.
Our Seasonal Specials are deliberately a little different from our standard Taster Class. With shorter teaching hours, the projects and materials are selected specifically to celebrate the season, so the exact designs you create may vary between dates.
As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with the season’s best materials, including British grown flowers and foliages sourced directly from our local growing partners when the season allows.
No floral foam will be utilised within this course, and single use plastics, for example anchor or pot tape, will be kept to an absolute minimum.
The Seasonal Special: Floristry Taster Class is a gentle introduction to floristry, whether you simply fancy trying something new, would love a few hours of creative time with flowers, or are beginning to wonder whether floristry could be a pathway you’d like to explore further.
Please note, no prior experience is required.
All flowers, materials and tools will be provided.
