Welcome to The Seasonal Special: Wedding Floristry Essentials.
From 2027, our Wedding Foundation Class becomes Wedding Floristry Essentials, and our Seasonal Special has been refreshed alongside it.
Designed as a shorter, seasonal version of our full Wedding Floristry Essentials course, this two-day experience offers a creative introduction to the flowers, techniques and design thinking involved in wedding floristry.
Across the two days, you’ll work with beautiful seasonal materials while exploring a carefully selected collection of practical wedding designs.
Alongside the practical work, we’ll introduce you to some of the considerations behind creating flowers for weddings, from flower selection and recipes through to colour, proportion, cohesion and how individual designs begin to work together as part of a wider floral scheme.
Our Seasonal Specials are deliberately a little different from the standard Wedding Floristry Essentials course. With shorter teaching hours, the projects and materials are selected specifically to celebrate the season, so the exact designs you create may vary between dates.
As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with the season’s best materials, including British grown flowers and foliages sourced directly from our local growing partners when the season allows.
We’ll also explore thoughtful, contemporary floristry techniques and mechanics, while keeping single-use plastics to an absolute minimum.
The Seasonal Special: Wedding Floristry Essentials is ideal if you’re curious about wedding flowers, would like to develop your floristry skills or simply want to spend two creative days exploring a beautiful area of floral design.
Please note, no prior wedding floristry experience is required.
All flowers, materials and tools will be provided.
